MOTHERHOOD IS PRICELESS

Parenthood is a state of taking responsibility to be a mother or father; it comes naturally without even planning.

No one is ready to be a parent if asked, but we embrace it without hesitance when it comes.

But for mothers, the impact of parenthood is felt because of the changes sacrifices that they go through to bring life to the world.

Ever thought of being a parent, a mother for that matter? It's a big question that comes to one mind; it's the most challenging decision that every woman has to make.

It's had how to learn how to be a good mother, take time to know and understand yourself and practice what you want your child to adopt.

One can even choose to read books or research, but no one can really tell how to be a mother.

A woman is she who carries a human for nine months and her tummy, and in her heart-whole, her life and still works daily to make everyone happy.

The bonding starts right after conceiving, and each semester is completed successfully.

The love of a mother is unmeasurable grows stronger each moment till birth.

She goes through tough moments, morning sicknesses, choosing what to eat or not even to eat at all, just for the sake of her unborn child.

Even in her weakest moment still have to make things work right for a normal day.

Sleeps late and Waking up early preparing everyone for school, job before her own to make the family happy.

The sacrifices, inconvenience they go through daily to maintain a good and smooth running of the family.

And when it is time to deliver a woman's life, the pain and the struggles are so high that her life is on the line, the chances to survive the delivery room is slimmer.

She goes through the labor pains which no man can handle to bring the little angel into the world.

But being the life-giver, even in the middle of the pain, she still prefers to choose the life of her own baby over her own life.

The surgery that some women go through a complication that occurs because of unpredictable factors; some survive others lose to it.

The surgery weakens some part of her body, and she still carries on with the bandages to raise her child to an adult.

And even surviving delivery and surgery, you still carry on just making sure that your baby is healthy and well protected.

That glow that appears in her face when she hears that first cry of her newborn gives her strength and overcome all the pain.

When the baby arrives, the best you can hope for is how the future will be. The heart opens, and blood freshly flows into your mind and a new you.

When the delivery is successful, the smile comes genuinely to her face from her heart as she receives her bundle of joy the first time.

It's miraculous that the sound of her baby makes the pain disappear in a blink of an eye, and forgets the struggle that she went through nine months.

How I celebrate all the women, you are priceless.

Ugali and Matumbo recipe

Ugali is the most popular loved food and mostly consumed by most families in Africa, away from milk and meat. Ugali is made of maize flour and sorghum cooked in boiling water to make a stiff dough. There are many ways to prepare ugali, depending on what one is planning to combine. However, ugali remains the most natural food which has not been interrupted by food processing chemicals, healthiest meal

The main reason women in Kenya love Ugali is its health benefits; It's made out of maize flour, which contains carbohydrates and starch, and its good energy. It helps to prevent constipation because the body quickly digests it. It is rich with proteins and fiber, very important indigestion.

Terere is herbal green leaves mainly grown in Kenya gardens. It is enjoyable because of the benefits of the herbs in it. It is healthy for women's health because it has calcium, which is good for healthy bones in women.  When terere is nicely cooked, it becomes soft and comfortable to swallow with ugali.

It is suitable for the skin and boosts the immune system of a lady. When a lady gives birth, she needs strength and energy to raise the child, and her body needs to recover faster. Eating ugali and matumbo has made my face glow because it has all the minerals that the body requires. Ugali and matumbo have low fat, which is the choice of every woman.

Matumbo is very delicious when prepared in the right way; ladies love Matumbo because they contain irons and have low fats. The combination of natural vegetables, which are natural herbs, they are a bit bitter because of rich medicinal benefits. The wild vegetables help in digestion because it is rich in fiber, and when digestion is good, the face glitters which are preferred by most ladies, bring the beauty in every woman.

Ugali, matumbo, and terere are the cheapest source of protein and vitamins required for body functions. The intestines tripe has a unique smell, which has made it to plan of every family menu. In Kenya, even in big hotels, intestines are available for many eateries. Tripe can be cooked in low heat to prevent it from drying.

The combination of Ugali with Matumbo, which is prepared in an extraordinary way to make the meal delicious, gives the most impressive meal. A variety of ugali, matumbo, and terere completes a healthy diet. I love ugali because it is easier to prepare; when the water boils, it takes minutes to make it.

Most Kenyans women prefer Ugali, matumbo, and terere because it’s delicious, and the aroma attracts even the neighbors. The delightful smell is most satisfying for craving pregnant women; ugali is on every menu as the number one priority over the years. Ugali has initially been consumed during the colonization because of the energy it gives during hardships.

Another thing with Ugali, Matumbo, and terere, it should be eaten especially eaten during the day, because of the energy it provides. But I prefer it during dinner after a long day, eat it earlier before bedtime to allow digestion. However, the beautiful thing about the cultural perspective is that everyone loves Ugali and no allergy issues, so I find it suitable for everyone.

The complete meal is also advisable for pregnant because of the health benefits.

Ugali, goat matumbo, and terere are affordable because all the ingredients are locally available. Its availability and affordability have remained the preferred stable food in Kenya as most people love it. I like cooking goat intestines because they are tender and quick to prepare. Goat its eats leaves, and so the intestines are rich with irons.

All ladies should eat healthily, as it leaves less room for diseases. And this is achieved by eating foods that have low fats and automatically leads to losing bodyweight. Avoid eating processed foods, sugary since the body will not use it leads to weight gain. As a lady, I require enough sleep; it boosts the brain and ability to work during the day.

Note; I love using fresh vegetables straight from the garden for better results. In the situation where beef is missing, I fry terere and eat using hands.
